Whilst a freshman stallion might be exciting and marketable, to stand at Bombora Downs it would have to be a horse that I truly believe in and affordable. Those horses are rare. The 3 horses we have Desert King, Golden Snake and Lago Delight are amongst the best value for money proven stallions standing.

The stud season at Bombora Downs is always a busy and exciting time of the year with mares coming and going vet work 3 days a week a 100 plus foals delivered and of course the putting in place of next year's foal crop. The rest of the year use to be known as the off season but with the ever growing need for the other services Bombora offers means we stay busy.
