Winding down the 2020 Season

The 2020 breeding season has wound down and the last foal has arrived.

Foaling

The last foal was born on Boxing Day, bringing our tally to 101 foals, 50 colts and 51 fillies. Congratulations to all our clients on the arrival of their future champions and we wish them every success in the future. A picture of each arrival is in the Bombora Downs 2020 Foal Gallery.

Breeding

It has been a busy breeding season with a number of walk-ons to Violet Town, Nagambie, Gnarwarre and Riddells Creek to name just a few. For our own stallions it has been steady but not overwhelming. Our last coverings will be in the first week of January 2021 and then the boys will sit back and relax until next season!!

Stallion Update

Warhorse (NZ) now has 12 individual winners and 4 others placed out of 34 runners. They are winning from 1200m to 1700m so starting to show their versatility. Read the latest in the TBV Blog: http://www.tbv.com.au/warhorse-continues-to-fire-shots-on-racing-front/

Dandino (GB) has had a couple more runners emerge. They are honest and will learn from the experience. Looking forward to the new year.
